I’ve been at this school for over a year and continuing so I feel like I can say I have a fair perspective on how the school operates. I genuinely loved the professors. I think that most ( or the ones I have had) will help you as much as you help yourself. I took some really hard courses last year and my professor made it a lot more digestible. You have to show up for yourself and they will show up for you. On the other hand - the complete lack of care from the advisors has set me back at least a year in my studies. I have talked to at least three of the advisors on and off campus. I am trying to get into a health program and every time I go to them to see what I need, they all say something completely different. One of them told me last year that I was completely set to apply for the Radiology program, so I didn’t take anymore classes which ultimately led me to become ineligible for the program when the application process became available. I do have to say that I had a prerequisite for math completed and I was told that it had just become an inapplicable prerequisite - requiring me to take another math. I was a patient in the dental program. I spent some serious hours in that dentist chair. The staff was excellent, and my personal hygienist was a very well mannered, caring young man.

Very frustrated- I applied from out of state as i live in CO right now & i was marked as potential fraud and the only way this can be resolved is if i come onto campus and show my ID etc. as much as i can understand, it’s also extremely frustrating and is deterring me from applying to this school now. There should be another way to verify potential students when this occurs.

This review is specifically for Professor Dennis Garvey’s astronomy class.Stay away from this professor if you expect clear teaching or support. The class felt very self-taught, and I often struggled to understand the material from the lectures alone. The videos provided did not seem to match the homework or exam content, so studying from them was not very helpful when preparing for tests. Homework grading was also extremely delayed at times, with some assignments not graded until long after exams were already completed, making it difficult to understand your progress in the class. Communication was frustrating because emails often went unanswered, making the professor very difficult to reach when students needed help or clarification. Be prepared for difficult exams and questions that may feel much harder than the examples or study material provided. Overall, I would avoid taking this class or this professor if possible unless you are fully prepared to teach yourself most of the material independently.

I presented a day long course here for the occupational therapist assistant program. The faculty of Julie B and Julie H are welcoming, smart, and focused on the program. The campus is well marked with legible signs that note the building names and numbers. The free parking offers accessible spots with curb cuts near the entrance to each building. The occupational therapy and physical therapy building has accessible entry and restrooms for men and women with a dedicated stall with 5ftx6 ft area and 2 grab bars.
